Celebrating International Womens Day
The untold stories of the women of Sydney.
As part of international womens day, Chulo Creative had the great pleasure of teaming up with SheSaw, World Square and City of Sydney. Putting on a pop up exhibition portraying some of the untold and incredible stories by the women of Sydney.
The month-long event ‘Now You See Her’ to increase the visibility of Sydney’s women.
Located in a beautiful pop-up space on the corner of George and Goulburn Streets, the event centres around a portrait exhibition of 12 ‘hidden women’ of Sydney. By following a self - guided World Square walk on the new SheSaw app, visitors can discover virtual statues ready to share these women’s inspiring stories.
Launching on International Women’s Day 8 March until 11 April.
Visitors can also get involved and help SheSaw reach its goal of sharing 1 million women’s stories by adding one to their selfie wall, putting even more women on the map, where they belong.
